Meet Ken
I started Cloud 9 because I realized people were tired of dealing with big companies where they were just another reservation number. I wanted to build something different — a service based on genuine relationships.
Almost always the same driver
That’s the part most people don’t expect. When you book Cloud 9, you’re not entering a queue. I take the call, I confirm the details, and I drive 90% of the trips myself. If you ride with me twice, I already know how you like it — which door you come out of, whether you want to talk or ride quiet, which bag goes in first.
You can’t build that with a rotating fleet of strangers, and honestly, you can’t build it at scale. So I don’t try to.
Locally owned means locally accountable
I’m based in Huntley and I drive McHenry, Kane, Boone and DeKalb counties. This is where I live. My customers are my neighbors, and they refer me by name — which is a much harder standard than a five-star rating from someone who’ll never see me again.
What that means at 4 a.m.
Most of my work is airport runs, and most airport runs start in the dark. I arrive before the time we agreed on. I track your flight so a delay is my problem, not yours.
When I pick you up, my goal is that you can completely relax. Whether it’s a stressful airport run or a joyous wedding day, I want the ride to be the easiest part of your day.
If it feels right, give me a call
I’d be happy to talk, answer your questions, and see if I’m the right fit for your ride. No pressure, just a friendly conversation.
